Think of them as a less-annoying substitute for a small paperclip. For that purpose, they're great!

With these clips, I can keep items together and the different colors can help if you want to color code items (i.e. red = top priority, yellow = medium priority, green = low priority, etc.).

They worked just fine for me. Some fell apart as I was using them. If you're looking for something to use & reuse again and again, but some that are of a better quality. If you're like me and want something colorful for hanging & are only planning on using them once, they work just fine.
