Rockler CNC Shark Pro Plus, April 28, 2011 By J.D. We have put about four hours on it now and are still ironing out the programing learning curve, but we are satisfied with the results thus far. Machine is fairly well built. You will benefit greatly if you have computer knowledge. There are a number of programs that work with this machine and they are all different with different quirks. The machine is much more capable than the examples of projects i have seen online. We are building furniture, 3d models, and carvings for a library ceiling.
One down side is Rockler does not supply very many bit sizes, so you'll have to shop around. The other downside is the bosch router does not have a 1/8" bit collet, which makes it more difficult and expensive to find small bit sizes. I found a manufacturer (GBcollets.com) who makes aftermarket collets, but they did not send the collet after payment and do not respond to inquiries(currently in dispute).
