Excellent chair mat!, May 6, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Bronze Design Chairmat Size: 36" x 48" Rectangular, Straight .130, Carpet (Office Product) I am an interior designer and was looking for a chair mat that would go well with my decor, and not predominately look like I was trying to protect the new carpet. After unsuccessfully trying to find a mat that wasn't the typical clear plastic variety, available at office supply stores, I checked with Amazon. The Bronze Design Chairmat immediately caught my attention. I ordered it and received it 6 days prior to the expected delivery date (great service!). It goes well with my medium brown carpet, and feels as comfortable to walk on in my stocking feet as does my carpet. The edge of the mat is slightly bowed downward which prevents the edges from being exposed and prone to tripping (what a great feature that is!). It is pliable and has some give when walking on, and supporting my chair's rollers. I have found that the mat is resistant to chair roller impressions which seem to dissipate not long after the chair is rolled to a new position. The mat's surface is smooth, yet has an... Read more
