After replacing a chair mat each year, I decided to spend a bit more and get something with more heft. This chair mat is a solid piece of laminate floor under my office chair, which I spend most of my work day on top of. It costs a little more than even the 'good' plastic mats but will last a lot longer. It doesn't ride along my floor, and no more bunching or cracks. Will try to post an update in 6 - 8 months. Very fast delivery, it was on my porch the next day.
