Decided to keep it anyway. Within one hour it split four more times under the wheels. Got me once!

His chair is leather with a wooden base, similar to many "executive" chairs. Within a year, the mat had developed numerous cracks. Within a year and three months, those cracks had so spread that chunks were coming out of the mat. The company did make good on their warranty and sent us another at no charge, but how much better would it be if it just lasted to begin with?
